\/><\/p>\n<h4>Hoax post goes viral<\/h4>\n<p>If one notices carefully, the text below the Pfizer logo reads \u2014 Makers of &#8220;The Boner Pill&#8221;, which suggests that the image has been humorously made, as pointed out by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/uk-factcheck-vape-idUSKBN28V1XE\">Reuters<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-83067 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/12\/Epp1y7YW8AAMp9C.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"828\" height=\"1028\" performed a reverse image search and found that the viral image was posted on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/funny\/comments\/kgl506\/were_saved_boys\/\">Funny<\/a> sub-Reddit forum but later href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/edxardo8\/status\/1340432967953428497?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 19, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Reuters contacted Pfizer who confirmed by email the vaporiser cartridge was fake.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How is Pfizer&#8217;s vaccine administered?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pfizer.com\/products\/product-detail\/pfizer-biontech-covid-19-vaccine\">Pfizer&#8217;s product catalogue<\/a>, the COVID-19 vaccine is called &#8220;Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine (also known as BNT162b2)&#8221;. The product page also directs to two separate fact-sheets \u2014 1) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cvdvaccine-us.com\/images\/pdf\/fact-sheet-for-recipients-and-caregivers.pdf\">recipient and caregivers<\/a> 2) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cvdvaccine-us.com\/images\/pdf\/fact-sheet-for-hcp-administering-vaccine-vaccination-providers-full-eua-prescribing-information.pdf\">healthcare providers administering vaccine<\/a>. United Kingdom <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/conditions\/coronavirus-covid-19\/coronavirus-vaccination\/coronavirus-vaccine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Health Service (NHS)<\/a> also states, &#8220;The COVID-19 vaccine is given as an injection into your upper arm. It&#8217;s given as 2 doses, at least 21 days apart.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is Pfizer&#8217;s vaccine manufactured in China?<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pfizer.com.cn\/(S(0zbz1d555b3dhmraxwrdjx55))\/pfizer-china\/pfizer_s_manufacturing_facilities_in_china_en.aspx\">Pfizer<\/a> has four manufacturing centres in China but none of them has been used to manufacture the coronavirus vaccine. The company has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pfizer.com\/products\/coronavirus\/manufacturing-and-distribution\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">listed specific locations<\/a> from where the vaccines will be shipped. These are a part of its U.S. and European manufacturing networks.
