The incident took place Karad, a village Rajasthan&#8217;s Sikar district, on January 8. Accused Kailashchand Raigar (21) murdered his 10-year-old cousin. SP Sikar Kunwar Rashtradeep told Dainik Bhaskar that Raigar murdered the child to take revenge on his uncle, the child&#8217;s father. The accused was arrested on the same day. There haven&#8217;t been any recent child-kidnapping incidents.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This report will be updated if and when we find details about the images of the beheaded child. But to reiterate, they are NOT related to the video of the man murdering his minor relative.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Video 2: Gorakhpur police&#8217;s press address shared with audio-morphing\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Audio of Gorakhpur police warning against child-kidnapping rumours morphed\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/360271829?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A 90-second video of a police officer addressing the press has been dubbed with voice over. The narrator warns of \u2018child-kidnappers on the prowl\u2019. He asks people to be aware of gangs of 500 people involved in illegal organ trading. This warning has been ascribed to SP (city) Gorakhpur, Kaustab.<\/p>\n<p>The narrator can be heard saying in Hindi, \u201cDo not open doors for any garbage collectors, sadhus, hawkers and beggars. Just make noise and send them away. Do not utter the words \u201cno one is at home right now, come later\u201d even by mistake. Unleash your pet dog if you have one. Do not open the main gate. Take care of yourself and your children. Stay alert and stay safe. Today, there have been reports that 500 people, disguised as beggars, have come from Bargadwa. They take hostage, anyone, on their way and sell their hearts and kidneys. Around 6-7 people have been caught and they have admitted that 500 people are on a prowl. Forward this message to all your friends and family members. Please stay safe. Gangs of 15-20 people are prowling. They have women and children accompanying them. They also have weapons. They come at midnight when the cries of children are heard. Please do not open your doors and share to maximum groups. This message should be viral in 2-3 days. Your safety is in your hands. Beware. Issued in the public interest, Gorakhpur police. This is said by SP (city) Dr Kaustab while talking to Gorakhpur newspapers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>There is no truth in the viral video.<\/strong> The voiceover does not match the news ticker that says \u2013 \u201cSP (city) Dr Kaustab terms the messages viral on social media \u2018fake.\u2019 The messages are not true. In the first part of this video, the anchor gives a brief of Gorakhpur police\u2019s statement. He tells viewers that SP Kaustab has termed the messages viral on social media \u2018fake\u2019. In the second part of the broadcast, the anchor reads out the false message viral on social media. <strong>This portion has been clipped and circulated online.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/0oqeooxw6Hc?t=109\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">1:49 minutes onward<\/a>, the SP can be heard debunking the rumours. He says that messages warning about child-kidnapping gangs are false and no such cases have been reported from Gorakhpur. He adds that messages ascribed to Gorakhpur police are being circulated on social media but the police has not issued any warnings. The Hindi voiceover in the video alleges, &#8220;Protect your child and take care of them. Send this to all your groups. Share this photo till the point this dog is arrested. People who don&#8217;t share this video aren&#8217;t their mother&#8217;s children. No matter how many groups you have, one or two&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Fake viral video child-kidnapping rumour\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/501751790?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"563\" height=\"1000\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We found that six out of seven images (all except the fourth image) have been debunked by Alt News in 2019 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/photographs-of-children-sitting-in-dickey-shared-with-child-kidnapping-rumours\/\">1<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/no-these-images-dont-depict-child-kidnapping-gangs-lifting-children-to-sell-kidneys\/\">2<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/old-photos-false-claim-weapons-recovered-from-a-mosque-in-gujarat\/\">3<\/a>) when they were shared with similar false rumours of child-kidnapping.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Image 1: <\/strong>This photograph shows a crowd gathered around a car. In a report published in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/photographs-of-children-sitting-in-dickey-shared-with-child-kidnapping-rumours\/\">August 2019<\/a>, Alt News found that the incident took place in Kurukshetra, Haryana after a family travelling with their children was mistaken for being child-lifters by locals in Ladwa. According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jagran.com\/haryana\/kurukshetra-couple-had-to-go-to-the-police-station-and-prove-that-the-children-sitting-in-the-dicky-belong-to-them-19486040.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dainik Jagran<\/a> report, the family hails from Hissar district and was returning from Haridwar after funeral rites of a relative.<\/p>\n<p>Alt News had spoken with Ladwa police to confirm the details of the incident. SI Omprakash said, \u201cWe had verified the details of the couple and found that these were their own children who were sitting in the trunk of the car. According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhaskar.com\/mp\/gwalior\/news\/mob-lynching-in-mp-01613429.html?ref1=feedback&amp;utm_expid=.YYfY3_SZRPiFZGHcA1W9Bw.1&amp;utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dainik Bhaskar<\/a> report, two people mistaken to be child-kidnappers were attacked by a mob in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. We were sent a screenshot of a 2019 report by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patrika.com\/ratlam-news\/news-in-madhya-pradesh-4840784\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patrika<\/a> that carried the viral image.
