This is the third year that rumours of child kidnappers on the prowl are circulating online. In 2018, these false messages had led to more than 70 mob attacks and 33 deaths. Alt News has debunked multiple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/?s=child-lifting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">photos<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/?s=child+kidnapping+\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">videos<\/a> falsely shared as child-kidnapping.<\/p>\n<p>We have not embedded the video in this report owing to its graphic nature. As per the report, this incident took place in Karad, a village in Rajasthan&#8217;s Sikar district, on January 8. Accused Kailashchand Raigar (21) murdered his 10-year-old cousin. Superintendent of Police (SP) Sikar Kunwar Rashtradeep told Dainik Bhaskar that Raigar killed the child to take revenge on his relative&#8217;s family. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesnownews.com\/india\/article\/horrific-murder-caught-on-cam-rajasthan-youth-slits-cousin-s-throat-after-being-nagged-by-uncle-for-studies\/704921\">Times Now<\/a> reported on January 9 that Raigar was &#8220;upset with his uncle who often nagged him for being poor in studies&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-84537 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/01\/Screenshot-2021-01-18-at-16.44.05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"911\" height=\"565\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/01\/Screenshot-2021-01-18-at-16.44.05.jpg 911w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/01\/Screenshot-2021-01-18-at-16.44.05-300x186.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/01\/Screenshot-2021-01-18-at-16.44.05-768x476.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 911px) 100vw, 911px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Alt News spoke with SP Sikar Kunwar Rashtradeep who reiterated the above-mentioned details and added,\u00a0 &#8220;The accused was arrested on the same day.
