India News Punjab Live had uploaded the video on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nW53YD-UlsI\">YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-85977 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-02-06-at-13.33.12.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"876\" height=\"755\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-02-06-at-13.33.12.jpg 876w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-02-06-at-13.33.12-300x259.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-02-06-at-13.33.12-768x662.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 876px) 100vw, 876px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tribuneindia.com\/news\/archive\/jalandhar\/video-of-nihangs-damaging-transport-bus-goes-viral-836007\">The Tribune<\/a> reported that the video shows Nihang Sikh men damaging a PRTC (Pepsu Road Transport Corporation) Kapurthala depot bus with swords. It went viral on the eve of September 20, 2019. As per the report, the incident took place after the bus accidentally hit one of the horses of the <em>jatha <\/em>(armed Sikh group).<\/p>\n<p>Hindi news outlet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jagran.com\/punjab\/kapurthala-nihang-singh-broke-into-prtc-bus-19601310.html\">Jagran<\/a> published a detailed report on the matter. In a written complaint to the police, driver Nirmal Singh (CK-382) said that he was taking a Kapurthala depot bus (PB09-X-3613) from Nakodar to Kapurthala on September 14 when the accident took place close to Tahli Gurudwara near Sunnada bridge around 8 am. One of the horses of the group of Nihangs travelling on the side of the bus was injured. Angered Nihangs attacked the bus with\u00a0<em>kirpans\u00a0<\/em>and spears.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBased on the complaint and the viral video, a case has been registered against four unknown Nihangs under different sections. We are trying to ascertain where they hail from and to which <em>jatha <\/em>are they affiliated.
