Citizens are overwhelmed, with many among those severely affected unable to get ICU beds, oxygen cylinders or even ambulances.<\/p>\n<p>Filmmaker Avinash Das took to <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.today\/0Ftqz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">social media to share an image<\/a> where a man can be seen carrying a dead body on a rickshaw. According to the report, a newly married woman had died by suicide in Gurdaha village of Uttar Pradesh. The police were informed about the death and the body was kept sealed in the district hospital. The next day the family had to wait for several hours for an ambulance to arrive to take the body for postmortem. Disappointed with the non-arrival of the ambulance, the family took it upon themselves to carry the body on a rickshaw.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-92484 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/05\/bc6da731-73ee-4c7b-b365-372d6fa0e21e.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"669\" height=\"811\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/05\/bc6da731-73ee-4c7b-b365-372d6fa0e21e.jpg 669w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/05\/bc6da731-73ee-4c7b-b365-372d6fa0e21e-247x300.jpg 247w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 669px) 100vw, 669px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The report by Patrika also attached a video statement of the relatives.
