The news has been credited to Hindustan Times but no such report was found on its website.\u00a0<\/strong>In fact, Hindustan Times had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/india-news\/coronavirus-covid-19-india-world-death-toll-sunday-may-9-2021-101620523882199.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">published a report<\/a> where the same image of an ambulance with a Hanuman sticker has been used. However, the report is not about any &#8216;Kerala couple&#8217;. It&#8217;s an article on COVID-19 highlights.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-93311 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/05\/2c7a9063-c88d-4dc1-baa3-e90009721596.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"612\" height=\"761\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/05\/2c7a9063-c88d-4dc1-baa3-e90009721596.jpg 612w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/05\/2c7a9063-c88d-4dc1-baa3-e90009721596-241x300.jpg 241w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 612px) 100vw, 612px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The news was also not reported by any other media organisation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. The image is from Bangalore.\u00a0<\/strong>The description of the image reads, &#8220;Family members and undertakers carry the body of a victim who died of the Covid-19 coronavirus at an open-air crematorium set up for the coronavirus victims inside a defunct granite quarry on the<strong> outskirts of Bangalore<\/strong> on May 8, 2021&#8230;&#8221; It is evident that the ambulance was used to transport a victim of COVID to a crematorium. The image has been credited to Manjunath Kiran from AFP.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the ambulance reads Prasanna Ambulance Services <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justdial.com\/Bangalore\/Prasanna-Ambulance-Services-Beside-G-M-Hospital-Nagarbhavi-2nd-Stage\/080PXX80-XX80-161022110535-W8Q9_BZDET\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">which is in Bangalore<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-93313 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/05\/255b33af-d5d2-4351-9fb6-baa4d9dcc444.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"414\" height=\"272\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/05\/255b33af-d5d2-4351-9fb6-baa4d9dcc444.png 414w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/05\/255b33af-d5d2-4351-9fb6-baa4d9dcc444-300x197.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 414px) 100vw, 414px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> <strong>No such news was found on Inshorts. Furthermore, the format of the viral graphic does not match Inshorts graphic. <\/strong>Alt News has compared the viral graphic with a genuine Inshorts graphic. The shade of the text in the body of the summary is much darker than the one in the genuine graphic. This is a doctored image.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A fake graphic was created to falsely claim that a Kerala couple passed away after refusing an ambulance with a Hanuman sticker. This false news was manufactured against a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.business-standard.com\/article\/news-ani\/rajasthan-hospital-denies-entry-to-pregnant-woman-over-her-religion-baby-dies-in-ambulance-120040500209_1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pregnant Muslim woman<\/a> alleging that she was denied admission to Janana Hospital in Rajasthan last month owing to her religion.
