A video that shows Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reading a letter he received from former Gujarat BJP MLA Yatin Oza is circulating on social media. The letter alleges that BJP leader Amit Shah met with AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, brother of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, where it was agreed that Owaisi will field his candidates in Bihar, particularly in the Muslim belt, in Bihar elections.
The clip has been shared against the backdrop of the recently-concluded Bihar polls where NDA retained power and AIMIM won five seats for the first time.

Kejriwal can be further heard saying, “It was also decided that Owaisi will vomit poisonous, communal speech, the script of which shall be written by Shri Amit Shah, which may have the potentiality to result in a communal divide in the country. It was decided in the meeting that BJP and Shri Owaisi will stand as strong opponents of each before the people but Shri Owaisi will only speak on dotted lines as decided by BJP.”

Video from 2016
The video dates back to July 2016, which is revealed through a simple keyword search. The complete video was uploaded by the YouTube channel of the Delhi government and has been attached below.
Yatin Oza is Gujarat High Court Advocates’ Association (GHAA) president and ex-BJP MLA who joined AAP in 2016. He was also with the Congress for a short period of time. On July 11, 2016, Oza claimed that then BJP President Amit Shah and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had “struck a deal” to “polarise” voters in the Muslim-dominated northern belt ahead of Bihar polls, reported Outlook.
The allegation was made after the 2015 Bihar assembly elections.
Asaduddin Owaisi denied the content of the letter. His lawyer had stated that the letter was “completely incorrect, baseless, false and stand refuted”. Owaisi had also tweeted about the allegations.

A four-year-old allegation levelled by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on the basis of a letter by ex-BJP MLA Yatin Oza has been revived. It is being falsely linked to the recent Bihar elections.
