To mark one year since President Ram Nath Kovind gave his assent to the three controversial farm laws, a Bharat Bandh was called by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body of 40 farm unions, on September 27 from 6 AM to 4 PM. As per media reports, about 700 farmers have died since the beginning of the agitation.
In the backdrop of this several users have posted an aerial view of a city and claimed that their city didn’t show solidarity with the SKM protest. Twitter user @Shubham__Pathak posted the image and wrote, “My city is fully open. Surat do not support Bharat bandh.”

Alt News performed a reverse image search and found that the photo was posted by the website Patna Beats in 2016. This report is about the launch of an odd-even parking scheme in Patna.
Since then, the image has been published by various websites as a stock image including Hindi language daily Dainik Bhaskar. To sum it up, a 5-year image of traffic in Patna was shared to discredit the ongoing farmers’ protest.
