A video, around 21-second long, is viral on social media with the claim that it shows an American crowd chanting Narendra Modi’s name at an election victory speech by Donald Trump. In the video, a crowd attending what is claimed to be Trump’s victory speech bursts into a chorus. It can be made out that they are chanting a name with only two syllables, leading users on social media to claim that it was the Indian Prime Minister’s name the crowd was chanting. Towards the end of this viral video, Trump can be heard saying: “He’s a great guy and he really means it, he wants to do some things, and we’re going to let him do it.”

Fact Check
To verify the truth of the viral claim, we checked out the full video of Donald Trump’s public address to his supporters in Pennsylvania on the morning of November 6.
On examining the speech, Alt News could confirm that Donald Trump was referring to Robert F. Kennedy Jr, the son of former US attorney general and senator Robert F. Kennedy, and a nephew of ex-US President John F. Kennedy. Originally contesting as an independent candidate, he dropped out of the race in late August and endorsed Trump, even campaigning in his rallies.
From the 19:30-minute mark in the video, Trump lauds Kennedy Jr, also known as ‘Bobby’, and exclaims that he would help ‘make America healthy again.’ Just after this, the crowd starts chanting the name. The viral clip has been extracted from this part of the video, roughly from the 19:49-minute mark till about 20:09, leaving out the part where Trump speaks out his full name. The latter part of this segment, where Trump repeatedly refers to Robert Kennedy Jr. as ‘Bobby’, is also missing from the viral clip.
Many have suggested that Trump’s words could be an indication that Kennedy Jr. could be designated as the chief of health administration in the Trump ministry.
To sum up, a video clip of an American crowd chanting ‘Bobby-Bobby’ referring to American political personality Robert F. Kennedy Jr is viral in India with many falsely claiming that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name was chanted by Americans during a speech by Donald Trump.
