Several other users had shared the viral video mocking the man and implying that the clip portrays a real incident. Below are a few instances.
Alt News has received requests on its WhatsApp helpline to verify the video.
Fact Check
We noticed some discrepancies in the clip that raise doubts about its authenticity.
While at the start of the video, one can see that the flying machine used by the man has two blades, once he jumps, two more blades appear, which seem to be floating in the air.

Further, right before he falls on the roof of the car, one can again see that the number of blades on the machine used by the man is three.

To further verify this clip, we broke it down into several keyframes and ran a reverse image search on a few of them. This led us to an Instagram page called: @aiarti11, which had posted the viral clip on November 27. We also noticed that the video had the watermark, ‘Aiarti11’.

We noticed that the bio of the user stated, “AI video creator,” and the page had posted several realistic AI-generated videos featuring plus-size people in similar situations.

The page features several other AI-generated videos, mostly with similar characters, and even sometimes features animals in different situations.
Therefore, from the above findings, it is clear that the viral clip is generated using artificial intelligence and is not a real incident.
