नहीं, गृह मंत्रालय ने लोगों को ‘चीन में बनी चीजें खरीदने से परहेज़’ करने को नहीं कहा है

सोशल मीडिया में प्रसारित एक संदेश में लोगों को चीन में बनाई गयी वस्तुएं खरीदने से मना किया गया है, जिसमें बताया गया है कि चीन के सहयोग से पाकिस्तान सरकार भारत पर हमला कर सकती है। इसके साथ दावा किया गया है कि इस संदेश को गृह मंत्रालय के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों द्वारा प्रसारित किया गया है। संदेश आप नीचे देख सकते है:

“A Serious Alert … According to intelligence reports A distraught and frustrated Pakistan, since it is incapable of attacking India in a direct war, is seeking Chinese help to cause the following damage,/ disturbance in India … Please read this carefully and take proper care to safeguard your family from any kind of health or other problems.
1.A different kind of crackers that produce smoke to cause Asthma in people who inhale that smoke.
2.Besides these crackers are also designed to produce Carbon Monoxide to cause breathing difficulty in people.
further, China is reportedly producing decorative coloured electric bulbs and serial bulbs with a high content of Mercury. The light produced / emitted by these bulbs can be highly injurious and cause vision -related disturrbances in persons exposed to the light, especially children.
China is planning to flood the Indian market with these dangerous products considering the festive season ahead from Janmashtami till Diwali and Christmas.
The public are advised to consider the above mentioned information seriously in their own interest and totally avoid purchasing any and all such products Made in China.

तथ्य जांच

हमने पाया कि यह समान संदेश अक्टूबर 2017 से साझा किया जा रहा है। FIND FAKE NEWS नाम के एक फेसबुक पेज ने समान संदेश जिसे ‘गृह मंत्रालय के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी’ द्वारा जारी किया बताकर पोस्ट किया था। अपने फेसबुक पोस्ट में उन्होंने इसे फर्जी बताया है।

सोशल मीडिया में वायरल संदेश की पुष्टि करने के लिए ऑल्ट न्यूज़ ने गृह मंत्रालय से संपर्क किया। गृह मंत्रालय के एक अधिकारी ने, अपना नाम ना बताने की शर्त पर हमें बताया कि,“यह संदेश पूरी तरह से झूठा है और अफवाह है।”

गृह मंत्रालय की वेबसाइट पर सर्च करने से और ट्विटर हैंडल पर संबधित कीवर्ड्स से सर्च करने पर हमें ऐसा कोई भी संदेश नहीं मिला। हमनें यह भी पाया गया कि गृह मंत्रालय में “वरिष्ठ जांच अधिकारी” नामक कोई पद नहीं है।

इसके अलावा, गृह मंत्रालय की वेबसाइट पर “बिस्वजीत मुखर्जी” नाम से सर्च करने पर हमें कोई परिणाम नहीं मिला।

अंत में हमने अपनी जांच में पाया कि सोशल मीडिया में वायरल संदेश में भारतीय नागरिकों को चीन में बने उत्पादनों को खरीदने से मना किया गया है, जिसे गृह मंत्रालय का हवाला देकर झूठे आरोप से साझा किया जा रहा है।
