Fact Check
Alt News did a reverse image search and found that the image was from April, 2018.
The image shows a photograph of a school, Darul Uloom Husseini, in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. At the time, many news organisations had reported the story and carried the photograph. According to an Outlook report, “This madrasa has become a center for modern education, where along with Arabic and English, Sanskrit is also taught (translated from Hindi)”. It further states, “The specialty of this ,adrasa is that Sanskrit is being taught by a Muslim teacher. Probably, this is the first time ever that Sanskrit is also being taught in madrasa.”

Thus, the viral image is morphed and has been amplified with false communal claims. In reality, the image showed the madrasa teacher guiding students in Sanskrit, not comparing Islam and Hinduism.
