A salacious photograph of two men sitting in a restaurant has been shared on social media with the claim that the older man is a “pracharak” of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), “Deepak Mishra”.
The complete message in Hindi reads, “#गुफ़ापुत्रों ये देखिए #आरएसएस के प्रचारक #दीपक मिश्रा ये क्या कर रहे है .कहीं पर निगाहें,और हाँथ कहीं पे ये है #शाखा का असली #संस्कार यही है। ये लोग #चरित्र की बात करते हैं तो हंसी आती है!!”
The picture is widely circulating on Twitter and has also been shared on Facebook.
Pornographic video
Alt News found that the photograph is a screenshot of a pornographic video. Several websites claim that it is from Pakistan.
At a later part in the video, we saw a Coca Cola fridge with the tagline “Maza Har Lamhe Ka” written in Urdu.
This is a Coca Cola slogan launched in Pakistan in 2016, as per the Coca Cola Pakistan website. In the screenshot below, the same slogan in Urdu can be seen (marked in blue) in an advertisement of the beverage giant.
Another Coca Cola advertisement aired in Pakistan where the same slogan can be heard in a jingle can be watched below.
Therefore, a screengrab of an old pornographic video from Pakistan is circulating in India with the false claim that it shows RSS worker Deepak Mishra. It is noteworthy that Alt News was unable to find any person with that name affiliated with the organisation.
