In the viral video, PM Modi and CM Yogi can be spotted in kurta-pyjama along with a black overcoat and orange robe respectively. Alt News performed a keyword search and found that the viral video is from a conclave held in Varanasi on December 14.

Restricting our results to the same day, we performed another keyword search on YouTube and found the video in question. Unlike in the viral video, people cannot be heard chanting anti-Modi slogans. Instead, they are chanting his name. The video was posted by Rohan Dua, Founder & Executive Editor of The New Indian.

A video of PM Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath in Varanasi was thus, superimposed with an audio clip to falsely portray locals chanting anti-Modi slogans.
