Jignesh Mevani, an independent MLA from Gujarat, tweeted an image of PM Narendra Modi wearing a skull cap on September 16, 2018 along with the aforementioned text. The tweet has now been deleted as it turned out to be a morphed image. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Indore on Friday to attend Ashara Mubaraka, an event to commemorate the death anniversary of Prophet Mohammed’s grandson Imam Hussain.
A Facebook user had also shared the same image with a similar claim. It had been shared more than 2700 times at the time of writing.

One of the images has also been posted by the page I Support Ravish Kumar NDTV which has over 550,000 followers. The post has been shared close to 8000 times so far.
Yet another photoshopped image pertaining to the same event was also circulated on social media.
