A wedding picture of Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan has been shared with an image of a large building. It has been claimed that the building is a mosque built by Hasan and his wife in Bangladesh that cost the couple Rs 90 lakh. Facebook group ‘मौलाना साद साहब के चाहने वालों का ग्रूप’ (Maulana Saad Saheb’s Fans Group) shared the claim, gathering more than 10,000 likes and 500 shares at the time of writing.

The images are viral on Facebook and have also made their way to WhatsApp.

Fact-check

Alt News performed a keyword search on Google and did not find any reports corroborating the viral claim. Moreover, the supposed picture of the mosque is actually a railway station in Kharkiv, the second-largest city in Ukraine. There are several photos of this station on Google.

Iuic.info‘, which contains information on different cities, has shared a picture of this railway station. It closely resembles the viral photo.

Using Google Street View, we were able to confirm this picture is Ukraine’s Kharkiv Railway Station.
