The festival of Holi recently concluded and Zee News posted a 50-second video that shows colourful fireworks in broad daylight. The outlet shared the video on its website, Twitter and Facebook.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad spokesperson Vindo Bansal shared the video and wrote, “Unique and beautiful video of holi”. It gained close to 10,000 views. Maya Suresh Chavhanke, director of Sudarshan News, shared Bansal’s video.

Old video from Saudi Arabia

Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan, Saudi Ambassador to the United Nations had tweeted the same video in 2018. He wrote that the video was shot at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, Dhahran.

The longer video begins with a wide shot that shows a building in the background.

The collage below compares the building with an image of King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture on Google Maps. As evident, the building is the same.

We found another video of fireworks from the same location. This was uploaded in 2019.

A video that dates back to at least 2018 and shows a fireworks show in Saudi Arabia, was shared in India on the occasion of holi.
