On February 15, Delhi High Court lawyer Prashant Patel Umrao posted a picture of a woman with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with the message, “आआपार्टी कार्यकर्ता निकिता जैकब जो #Toolkit और हिंसा मामले में फरार है। (AAP activist Nikita Jacob who is absconding in the toolkit and violence case).” He claimed that the woman in the image is Mumbai-based lawyer-activist Nikita Jacob. A non-bailable warrant was issued against her in connection with the toolkit shared by Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg over the ongoing farmers’ protest.

While Umrao later deleted his tweet, a screenshot of the same is circulating on Facebook. A post by Facebook page I Support Yogi with over 9 lakh followers has garnered close to 400 shares so far.
Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit also posted the image with the same claim. He said in a now-deleted tweet, “They are all together”.
The image has been shared by several individuals on Twitter and Facebook.
Not Nikita Jacob
Alt News found several tweets by Aam Aadmi Party workers that pointed out that the woman in the picture is not Nikita Jacob but AAP activist Ankita Shah.
Ankita Shah had shared her image with Arvind Kejriwal on Facebook on March 3, 2019.
Moreover, a look at the Twitter profile picture of Nikita Jacob clearly suggests that there are obvious differences in her facial features when compared with AAP activist Aikita Shah.
An image of AAP activist Ankita Shah was therefore shared with the false claim that she is lawyer-activist Nikita Jacob with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
